Josef Hoffman (1870–1956) was an influential designer in the Art Nouveau movement and also played an important role in the development of the modernist movement in the early 20th century. He created furniture, decorative objects and buildings, including the interior design of several famous buildings, such as the Villa Skywa-Primavesi in Vienna.
