Kubi Vasak is a Sydney-based artist and designer whose practice explores the intersection of collage, paint, and graphic composition. Working primarily with paper and mixed media, his work combines bold colour, organic form, and layered abstraction to reconstruct visual narratives. His contemporary aesthetic is marked by a balance of precision and spontaneity, with a focus on material experimentation and visual rhythm.
In 2015, Vasak founded the Sydney Collage Society, a platform that champions contemporary collage and fosters creative community in Australia and beyond. He also led collage workshops at major institutions such as the Art Gallery of NSW, the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences, and Sydney Living Museums.
Vasak has collaborated with clients including 25 Hours Hotels, Universal Music, Sony, Vivid Sydney and his work has been featured in Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, and InStyle Magazine. He has exhibited in group and solo shows across Australia, the United States, the UK, and Spain, with work held in private collections internationally.
