Millie Bartlett is a Sydney-based collage and mixed media artist whose practice is grounded in the careful deconstruction and reassembly of vintage print. She works exclusively with Saturday Evening Post magazines from the 1930s to 1960s as her source material, creating compositions that reflect a considered dialogue between nostalgia, humour, and contemporary visual culture.
Millie was commissioned by Tiffany & Co. to create original work for their flagship store on Pitt Street, Sydney, exhibiting alongside fellow Sydney artists Anna-Wili Highfield and Gemma O’Brien.
Her work has been featured in Collage by Women, Cutting Chaos Vol I, 46 Pages, and Contemporary Collage Magazine. With a growing international following, Bartlett’s pieces are held in esteemed private collections across Europe and the United States, including the Kanyer Art Collection — one of the world’s leading archives dedicated to the medium of collage.
